You’re Not The One

You’re not the one
who cries every moment in reminiscence

You’re not the one
who cuts to the guilty arrogance

You’re not the one
who remembers the memories
of good and bad clarities

You’re not the one
who has a part of their life
gone under the knife

You’re not the one
who starves themselves
to feed the guilty which dwells

You’re not the one
who hates every love song
to remind you that someone’s gone

You’re not the one
who feels the heartache
in every blinking wake

You’re not the one
who crawls on bloodied hands and knees
to battle others’ hurt and dreams

You’re not the one
who asks why
against ignorance, wanting to die
You’re not the one
who’s being hurt
all the time, fighting each word

You’re not the one who runs away
fighting to survive another day

You’re not the one
who still loves you
pained by every numb move you do

You’re not the one
who’s got nowhere to go
where everything was taken in one big blow

You’re not the one
who can’t smile
because the taste of pain is vile

You’re not the one
who has no hope anymore
crumbled and sore

You’re not the one who writes this
just thinking about what you had
making it hurt even more and just wanting to go back
for just that chance and moment
to prove that sometimes, it takes
just a hit from one last blow
to make a difference

You’re not the one
who writes this
shaking, wanting everything to stop.

You’re not the one
who’s writing
their heart out
begging for freedom.
