Adam Lambert – Better Than I Know Myself

I know what you’re thinking… But this man has a very male-P!NK voice, and I like that. It’s powerful, not too pretty-pop-prince[ss] (if you put aside the mainstream beat). It’s simple and meaningful (I am being a little contradictory with my previous post), but this is nice.

I perceived this song literally and metaphorically: literally, he’s talking to a friend/partner, explaining how he’s lost without them, and is apologising for the way he’s treated them. The metaphorical interpretation is that, Adam’s talking about himself, and he’s reaching out for his inner-strength to clear up his act (bit of research there, plus in the music video, it’s self-explanatory).

Be aware that the lyrics may be 99.9% right, depending on the YouTuber.
